Clean, nice area, close enough to everything but not to close

I will say this FIRST, please be sure to write down the door code prior to arrival. Verizon customers might have a few issues with a signal in that area from time to time. The cabin was clean and WELL STOCKED. This was a very cozy cabin. The mattresses did not hurt our backs lol.The owner layed out simple instructions for checking in, door pad info and wifi info. Would I recommend this cabin? ABSOLUTELY! My only only issue was, the cleaners arrived at 10 on the dot. Though we were loading up our car, it would've been nice to remove all belongings without feeling rushed. But we also understand that they might have other cabins to clean before check in time. WE LOOK FORWARD TO COMING BACK IN THE NEAR FUTURE

There are some very nice things to say about this property. The decks that overlook the woods are some of the best things there. We spent a lot of our time out on them.There are a few things that definitely didn't sit well with us. 1. The Hot Tub had rust or something else, causing a major discoloration around the tub. And the water needed to be drained. We did not want to sit in it. 2. The "pool" if you wish to call it that, probably was the smallest I have ever seen. Maybe 8'x10'. And it was on the level as the kids room. (Nobody wants to sleep upstairs, while your kids sleep next to a pool on ground level.) You couldn't adjust the temperature of the room or the pool. Not to mention the door to the pool was unlocked when we arrived. So, 2 of the major reasons why we wanted this place, one we couldn't use, the other was tiny. 3. There had obviously been a storm come through. A large piece of gutter was hanging over the entry steps. 4. There are multiple smoke alarms either missing or hanging by wires. 5. The lack of a place to hang clothes, was annoying. There wasn't any hangers. No place to set your luggage. Yes there is a dresser but they had it stocked with blankets and such. 6. I did receive instructions to get into the place and the wifi password. I should have taken a screenshot because upon arrival you do not have service. So you can't pull up any information. 7. Property manager was fine but he did tell VRBO that everything had been corrected. Untrue...

Beautiful cabin, very easy check in process and the host was very quick to reply to any questions that we had, will definitely be booking with him again!!

Great cabin, loved all of the activities in the cabin.
