Location is amazing… easy walk to Crystal Beach access and Camille’s cafe is a gem to have so close by. Pool is lovely and house is well equipped for beach time. Outdoor furnishings are in pretty rough shape and house needs some refreshing and TLC. Travis was very responsive and maintenance came quickly when we had a couple of issues after check in. I didn’t love getting charged extra for a little extra time upon arrival and departure especially because the fee wasn’t mentioned until we arrived -despite several messages back and forth about it, prior. We had a wonderful time and loved that part of Destin in the shoulder season.

Disappointing Stay — Property Has Potential but Needs AttentionThe property did not meet our expectations for the price. Although the professional photos look attractive, the furnishings felt worn and neglected, and the condo needs better cleaning and maintenance.We encountered palmetto bugs inside, mold-like buildup on bedroom and bathroom vents, a moldy dishwasher utensil holder with a crushed bug, dirty dishes in cabinets, and what appeared to be blood on a bathroom wall. A ceiling leak soaked a mattress. The grill was extremely dirty, with numerous bugs coming out when checked, and a broken board on the beach steps caused multiple people to trip. We found other maintenance issues too.We understand coastal properties have humidity and occasional insects, but these problems went beyond reasonable expectations. We documented them with photos and videos and worked around several issues ourselves.We were disappointed to be asked to compile a maintenance list for the next guests. Ensuring a rental is clean, safe, and maintained before check-in is the owner’s or manager’s responsibility.We were told to evacuate because of the approaching hurricane and left two days early, so we cannot comment on the property afterward. We received partial compensation for the inconveniences and one lost night.The property has potential, but it needs better cleaning, repairs, and attention to detail. We would not stay here again in its current condition.

Loved our stay in Destin! The location was perfect and the house was beautiful! The host (Travis) was awesome and was very responsive if I had any questions. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The private pool was a huge hit with my group! We hung out at beach all day right across the street and would then hang out at the pool at night. So many wonderful memories made! We will be back!
